Promotion Review Boards

Once cadets have completed the promotion requirements of their respective achievement, they participate in a promotion review board (PRB) which assesses their compliance with appearance (uniform & grooming) standards, understanding of leadership/academic knowledge, personal goals, and other key factors including participation in CAP activities (outside of weekly meetings) & overall weekly attendance.

Requesting a Promotion Review Board

Cadets who have completed ALL promotion requirements are welcome to submit a Promotion Review Board Request HERE. 

Once you have submitted a PRB request, one of the Cadet Administration Officers will review your request and schedule you for a PRB. You will receive an appointment confirmation email indicating which date, time, and office your PRB will be conducted. 

***NOTE: You must be logged into your CAWG email to access the PRB Request form.

****NOTE: Cadets who have not completed all promotion requirements may be conditionally scheduled for a PRB if the missing requirements can be completed before the scheduled PRB. The cadet must explain the circumstances in the PRB Request and is subject to the Cadet Administration Officer's discretion.

Promotion Review Board Requirements

You may proceed to the immediate vicinity of the assigned office where your PRB will be conducted up to five (5) minutes before your scheduled PRB appointment. Please be ready to knock and enter the assigned office on the dot. It is YOUR responsibility to request permission to be dismissed from the flight or classroom for your PRB. Cadet Staff WILL NOT track you down. Before entering the assigned office for your PRB, ensure the following:

• Completed Promotion Agreement Form (Personal Signature, Goals, and ALL Staff Sign-Offs Need to Be Completed)

• Your Grooming & Uniform are compliant with CAPR 39-1.

• Completed Staff Duty Analysis (Phase III & IV Cadets Only)
