New Cadet Resources
First Steps
You will receive an welcome email from Civil Air Patrol National Headquarters, to the personal email listed on your cadet membership application. With the information provided in that email, please do the following:

Access and Login into eServices

Complete OPSEC course.

Obtain a California Wing (CAWG) Email Address

Check the personal email that is listed on eServices for instructions on setting up a CAWG email.

Once your CAWG email is set up, change the primary email address in eServices to your CAWG email. Instructions can be found HERE.

Acquire Uniforms
-
Contact the supply officer to check for uniform items in your size that the Squadron has in storage.

Order remaining items from Vanguard or inquire about obtaining uniform items at the Los Angeles Air Force Exchange.

Work Towards your Curry Achievement

Read Learn to Lead: Volume 1, Chapter 1. Be prepared for a 25 question quiz, with 80% or better required to pass.

Pass the Learn to Lead Chapter 1 Test. Take your online test. You can do so at your convenience from eServices under the Cadet Testing page.

Complete Remaining Promotion Requirements. Further guidance on promotions can be found HERE.
